DOES MY CHILD REALLY NEED BRACES?

We know how hard it can be to understand all there is to know about orthodontics, and in particular, to understand whether your child really needs braces or is it just another cost in terms of time and money.

It may surprise you that how the teeth look is only one small part of the problem. There can be issues that hide beneath the gums that can only be discovered with a screening x-ray. Often these are easily addressed, and simple treatment is all that is needed.

If not attended to early, these simple problems can become more difficult and expensive to treat.

If your child really does need treatment, Dr. Martin Fine is often able to offer both braces and non braces alternatives which may include aligners like Invisalign. It depends on what's most suitable for your child.
